Its called responsive design — and that pretty well describes what it is and what it does. Its a website design that automatically renders a traditional website onto a mobile device.
Sounds like magic, right? Well, as with most things, its not always that simple. Some mobile websites can be generated with responsive design but don’t render very well for users.
The key is to have the original built properly for BOTH desktop and mobile device usage, or you should just gut it out and create a custom mobile design.
